We had a great time in El Salvador doing ministry.
We stayed with some Christian friends, many of them doctors and dentists, who do medical outreaches to very poor communities in El Salvador.
The first day we went to a musical institute called Canzión. This school was founded by Marcos Witt, a famous Latin worship leader. We got to share with the youth and challenge them to enter into missions using their musical talents.
On Friday they took us to a community called Zaragoza, about half an hour from the capital. We did programs in two primary schools with dramas and teachings, went house to house and had a medical outreach the last day. On May 10th we celebrated Mothers Day, which is a big deal in Latin America.
It was good to be able to help the church in the communities, and also give the medical team some more information about world missions as well as everyday missions. We continue to pray that the people we have met to share the gospel with will not continue in the same, but be changed by the power of Jesus.
Thanks again for your support. We are now in Honduras to continue our outreach.
