Outreach in Nicaragua

Nicaragua was our last stop on our outreach where we did ministry. We spent the days in El Crucero, training and encouraging a church into missions. We also went to schools and a hospital to share the love of God to the Nicaraguans.
The outreach is over, but we know that our work as missionaries is not done yet. We have learned that sharing about the hope we have in Christ is not only something we do on a missions trip, but it is a life style to be lived every day.

Once again, thank you so much for your support, both financially and by praying for us. Thank you for being part of what God has done and is doing in Central America.

Outreach in Honduras

We are grateful for the time we spent in Honduras. A church in La Paz, a city one hour from the capital, welcomed us to do ministry with them. The pastor was very open to teach the church, especially the leaders and youth, about missions, evangelism and spiritual warfare.

We visited various public schools where we shared about the love of Christ through dramas and testimonies. We also went to different houses to evangelize in an area where they are starting a new house church.

It was awesome to see in the youth a strong desire to do missions in their own country as well as going to other nations. God has been using us to share with those who do not know Him as Saviour and also to recruit believers into missions.

Nicaragua is our last country where we are going on this outreach before we return to Panama.

Outreach in El Salvador

We had a great time in El Salvador doing ministry.

We stayed with some Christian friends, many of them doctors and dentists, who do medical outreaches to very poor communities in El Salvador.

The first day we went to a musical institute called Canzión. This school was founded by Marcos Witt, a famous Latin worship leader. We got to share with the youth and challenge them to enter into missions using their musical talents.

On Friday they took us to a community called Zaragoza, about half an hour from the capital. We did programs in two primary schools with dramas and teachings, went house to house and had a medical outreach the last day. On May 10^th we celebrated Mothers Day, which is a big deal in Latin America.

It was good to be able to help the church in the communities, and also give the medical team some more information about world missions as well as everyday missions. We continue to pray that the people we have met to share the gospel with will not continue in the same, but be changed by the power of Jesus.

Thanks again for your support. We are now in Honduras to continue our outreach.

Outreach in Guatemala

We had a great time working in Antigua, Guatemala.
David Rodriguez and Antonio Chamo were our contacts in Antigua, and they received us with open arms. We had seven days together to do ministry in their churches, to train them in evangelism and putting it into practice out on the streets.

We had the privilege to visit a home for old people, and we got to share God with many of them.
We also went to a home called Unlimited Life, run by David Dvorak. They have around 30 children from 1-16 years old, children who are rescued from the streets or abused by their parents. Some of them have HIV. They told us many testimonies of how God healed and reduced the HIV in many children!
We had a program with dramas and games for the kids, to show them the love of God.

We thank God for using us in Antigua, Guatemala, in different ministries and works. Many people received Jesus as their Saviour and many Christians committed to live a life focused on evangelism and missions.
Thank you so much for your support, we believe that what we do is thanks to your prayers and support.

Outreach in Chiapas Mexico.

The first week of our outreach we spent in Chiapas, in the southern part of Mexico. We had the opportunity to visit a few indigenous churches and communities, some of them up to five hours away from where we lived! But it was worth the effort, because the churches were really happy and encouraged to see us come from so far away just to spend time with them and motivate them to get involved in missions!

Isaac Solis was our guide and he took us around to the different places and churches, and also gave us lots of information about the indigenous cultures, customs and needs. In a community called Chamula where they speak tzotzil, many pastors and Christians have been persecuted and even killed for being followers of Christ by strict Catholics. They have lost their rights and properties for sharing their faith in Jesus openly. We visited a place like this to encourage them and training them in missions as well as having classes for kids with clowns and dramas.

We have also helped out in a kindergarten with children from 1-3 years old that helps single moms, and we painted a house to bless a fellow believer.

Now we are in Antigua, Guatemala, where we will work with two different churches. We are living with host families from the church, this way we get to know the culture and spend lots of quality time with Guatemalans. They are very excited about the teachings and training that we have prepared for them, and we are hoping to leave seeds planted in the lives of all the people God leads us to.

Mission Adventures is a ministry operated by YWAM all around the world. It works as a facilitator for the local church, youth group, or other organization to set up a short-term mission trip. We take care of all the logistics on our end so that your group can come and do the ministry.

Our Goal: To be like a stone that falls into a still pond, causing a rippling effect throughout the pond. In that same way here in Panama our goal is to begin mobilizing every church right here in our local communities as well as the interior of the country. In the long term we hope to reach out to surrounding nations as well as our own and begin to motivate and mobilize the church into missions.

Hogar Jucum

To equip the indigenous youth of Panama through Christian education and discipleship enabling them to bring positive and lasting change to their communities and the world.

The “Hogar” program has been running now for 4 years. We had our first graduates recently. One of these students is now an elementary teacher in her village, two others went on to do their DTS and have long-term vision for missions. They also are pursuing University education. The response from the indigenous community has been overwhelmingly positive. If it is in your heart to invest into the future of one of these teenagers and in turn, permanently change these indigenous communities, there are many ways that you or your organization could be involved.

Staff and Leadership Training SALT

The purpose of the SALT school is to produce better equipped staff members for our schools and base staff. Through leadership training, the graduates will be better able to lead in a variety of ministries on any local base. For someone desiring to be involved in ministry, the experience and training that is gained in a school environment first will minimize the difficulties that come by just learning as you go. Even more importantly, the graduates of the SALT will be more effective disciplers, thus producing more effective laborers for God's harvest field of discipling nations.

Discipleship Training School DTS

A Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a five-month, intensive program designed to help people know God in depth. The school is divided into a three-month class phase and two-month outreach phase.
